2. Data We Collect

Job Seekers

  • Name, email address, and account credentials
  • Professional information (job title, location) you choose to provide
  • List of references you invite (name, email, relationship)

References

  • Name and email address (provided by the job seeker)
  • Survey responses including ratings and free-text feedback
  • Consent preferences (e.g., willingness to be contacted for follow-up)

Recruiters

  • Work email address, name, and company name
  • Profile access and request history

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To generate aggregated, anonymized credibility profiles from reference feedback
  • To send invitation and survey emails on behalf of job seekers
  • To verify recruiter identity via work email validation
  • To share recruiter access details (name, company, email) with the candidate
  • To improve the Service and communicate important updates

4. Anonymization and Aggregation

Individual reference responses are aggregated and anonymized before being included in a credibility profile. Answers may be quoted, but are never attributed to a specific reference. Reference names and initials may appear on the report, but individual survey responses cannot be correlated to a specific person.

5. Consent

  • All data is collected with explicit consent.
  • References participate voluntarily and may decline at any time.
  • Job seekers must review and explicitly approve their credibility profile before it is visible to recruiters.
  • Deeper reference access requests require the candidate’s explicit approval before any information is shared.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Aggregated, anonymized credibility profiles are shared with recruiters who provide a valid work email—only after the candidate approves.
  • Recruiter access details (name, company, email) are shared with the candidate whose profile was viewed.
  • We use third-party service providers (email delivery, hosting, analytics) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
