By accessing or using CredibilityProfile.com (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CredibilityProfile.com enables job seekers to collect structured, anonymized reference feedback and share it as a reusable credibility profile link. Recruiters and hiring managers can access these profiles to evaluate candidates earlier in the hiring process.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to update your information as necessary.

4. Job Seekers

  • You may invite professional references to complete a structured survey on your behalf.
  • Your credibility profile is only visible to recruiters after you review and explicitly approve it.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the references you invite are genuine professional contacts.
  • Creating and sharing your credibility profile is free of charge.

5. References

  • Participation is entirely voluntary. References may decline at any time.
  • Individual survey responses are aggregated and anonymized. Answers may be quoted but are never attributed to a specific reference.
  • No information is shared with a recruiter without the candidate’s explicit approval.

6. Recruiters and Hiring Managers

  • You must use a valid work email address to access credibility profiles. Personal email providers (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) are not accepted.
  • You agree to use the data solely for legitimate hiring and employment evaluation purposes in compliance with applicable employment law.
  • You may not share, redistribute, or publicly disclose credibility profile data without the candidate’s consent.
  • Requests for deeper reference access (detailed profiles, reference interviews) require the candidate’s explicit approval before any information is shared.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Create fake references or submit fraudulent survey responses.
  • Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate employment-related evaluation.
  • Attempt to de-anonymize or correlate individual reference responses.
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in an automated manner.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and technology on CredibilityProfile.com are the property of CredibilityProfile and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any credibility profile or reference feedback.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CredibilityProfile shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to hiring decisions made based on credibility profiles.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
